00 / MODERATION

Use the site.Don't lose the hour.

A permanent block can be useful. But the same site that wastes an hour can also answer a question, teach you something, or help you unwind.

The goal is moderation. Access remains possible, but not automatic: one result sets the boundary for the next 30 minutes.

01 / TWO SURFACES

The browser catches the tab. Android catches the app.

Same account, schedule, and server-authoritative 30-minute decision. A different interruption layer for each surface.

02 / THE ROUND

Interrupt the impulse. Keep the result.

  1. 01

    Load the distractions.

Choose the sites that pull you off task and set the working hours that fit your week.

  2. 02

    Take one shot.

Before the feed appears, the chamber resolves one access-or-focus result for the next 30 minutes.

  3. 03

    Live with the result.

Refresh, reopen, or switch browsers. The same answer holds until the clock reaches zero.

03 / ANTI-CHEESE

No cheap exploits.

05 / NO SURVEILLANCE

Sync the rule. Leave the browsing history behind.

Focus Roulette needs: the domains you choose, your working hours, snoozes, plan, and current 30-minute decision. Android app choices stay on your phone.

Focus Roulette does not collect: general browsing history, your installed-app list, page content, page titles, search queries, or the full URL you tried to open.

Card information is processed securely by our payment provider and is never stored by Focus Roulette.

06 / STRAIGHT ANSWERS

FAQ

Can I refresh until I get access?

No. The decision lasts for 30 minutes. Refreshing, reopening the site, or moving to another signed-in browser keeps the same answer.

Could an outage lock me out?

No. Active 30-minute windows continue locally. If a new decision cannot be reached quickly, the page is allowed rather than leaving you stuck.

Which platforms does it support?

The browser extension supports Chrome, Brave, Edge, and Firefox on desktop. The Android app is in development and its beta waitlist is open.

How will the Android app work?

Choose distracting apps on your phone. During your schedule, Focus Roulette shows the same 30-minute access-or-focus decision used by your signed-in account. App choices stay on the device; monitoring needs Android's Usage Access and display-over-apps permissions.

Can Focus Roulette see what I browse?

It recognizes the domains you choose to interrupt. It does not upload your general browsing history, page content, page titles, search queries, or full URLs.
